Mr. Carney, it doesn't matter what you believe. In fact, what you believe is the last thing that matters. It also doesn't matter what the administration believes. This isn't about striking an appropriate balance between respecting religious beliefs and increasing access to important preventative services. This is about the Constitution of the United States of America and this Congress and this President's blatant violation of it.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.--First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America
The first amendment is not written in Greek so as to be hard to understand, Mr. Carney. The Congress of the United States has passed into law a bill that is in direct violation of the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment. They have passed a law that prohibits the free exercise of religion by the Catholic Church in America. Not only that, but the President has signed said law into effect. Mr. Carney, I'm here to let it be known that any law passed in violation of the Constitution of the United States of America is both null and void.
No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except for cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law, nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.--Fifth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America
Not one single baby killed by the atrocity of abortion has ever had due process of law. Not one. Writing abortofacients into law violates the due process clause of the Fifth Amendment.

Not only is this law in violation of the First and Fifth Amendments, I contend that it is also in violation of the Ninth Amendment. The people have the right not only to worship freely, they have the right not to be forced to be accessories to what many of us believe is murder. We have a right to not be forced by our government to be guilty of what is a felony in 50 out of 50 states.

Not only is this law in violation of the First, Fifth, and Ninth Amendments, but also the Tenth Amendment. Nowhere in the Constitution will you find the authority for the Federal government to dictate what a person is required to purchase. Nowhere.
Now Jay, do you really intend to stand there and tell me that you don't believe there are any constitutional rights issues here? You are a weasel and a liar, Jay Carney. You know good and well that there are constitutional rights issues here. It's just that you, Barack Obama, and the rest of the Marxists in Washington just don't really give a damn. The Constitution is just something that gets in your way.
